THE VENUE

Pirate Life Brewing - 18 Baker St, Port Adelaide


Please note: The Venue will be separated into two areas – Main Brewery Venue (which is accessible to the General Public & Festival Attendees) + the Froth & Fury Festival Area (See Site Map below)

ENTRY

Entry to Froth & Fury will be through the main gate to Pirate Life Brewery on Baker Street, Port Adelaide SA 5015
The Festival gates open at 11am – 11:30pm

​

 

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY TO THE EVENT:

We do expect a line up at the gate, so arrive early to avoid the line and support the bands.


Please have your bags ready for inspection by Security for your safety.


All IDs will be checked at the Festival Gate for bar service. Please have it ready for inspection upon arrival.


No Outside Food or Drink is allowed inside Pirate Life Brewing.

You can bring an empty water bottle to fill up with H20 at the free water filling area

(if you have any contents in a bottle, security will ask the guest to tip out / remove).


For everyones safety there is no Crowd Surfing, Stage Diving or Walls of Death.

Anyone disobeying the rules risks ejection from the Festival

PASS OUTS

Pass outs are available for the festival. 
Please show your wristband to the security at the checkpoint inside the Pirate Life Brewery venue when re-entering.
No Wristband no entry.

 

 

FROTH & FURY SHIRTS - MERCH

If you pre-ordered your Froth & Fury Shirt they can be picked up from the Merch area located in the Festival Area (See the Site Map).

Just ask the merch people for your shirt (you may be required to show your ID or proof of purchase).

All pre-ordered shirts are to be picked up by 8pm on each night.
Any remaining Event shirts will be on sale at the Merch Area for $40 each.

TICKETS

Sales on Moshtix.com.au close at 10am on Saturday November 18
Tickets will be available at the Box Office / entry gate from 11am Saturday November 18 (See Site map for location).

REFUNDS / RESALES

There are no refunds for tickets. A refund will only be issued by Moshtix if the event is cancelled.
There is no official resale site for those who can no longer attend - We suggest using Tixel if you wish to resell your ticket..

HOW TO GET THERE - ADELAIDE METRO – BUS:

Jump on board bus 252 and get off at "Bus Stop 38 or 39" just off St. Vincent Street with a 2 minute walk to the brewery.

DESIGNATED DRIVERS /PARKING:

The champions that keep us all safe! Please note that there will be limited car parking near the brewery.

Please ensure that you arrive early to secure a space on the surrounding streets.

There will be coffee, tea & non-alcoholic drinks also available
PLEASE NOTE THAT BARLOW STREET CRAPARK WILL BE CLOSED

WHAT TO BRING:

It can get cold at night in the Port so please dress warm and if Rain is scheduled something to keep you dry.

Umbrellas are welcome just dont take them down into the pit and be respectful of peoples sightlines and personal space etc.
If the weather is warm, please remember to wear sunscreen and keep yourself hydrated.

Please check the latest weather reports closer to the date. We have not been able to provide a coat check.

Empty water bottle – if you have any contents in a bottle, security will ask the guest to tip out / remove.

 


DO NOT BRING:

Food, drinks, glassware, metal cutlery, folding chairs, or pets
Security reserves the right to refuse items that they deem to be unsafe or against the Venue Policies & Terms of Entry

 


FOOD

Plenty of great eats supplied by: Pirate Life Brewing, Moi An Viet Street Food, La Popular Taqueria, Cheekies Chicken, Potato on a Stick and If You're Game to keep you all fuelled up for the big day!

BEER

Plenty of delicious Pirate Life Cans available in the bars located in the festival area, and you can also try the huge range of tap beer in the Main Brewing Room. Please note all beers purchased in the Main Brewing room will be served in Plastic cups on the day. (No glass allowed in the Festival area). Please

SPIRITS & OTHER DRINKS

Our sponsors: Jack Daniels, Smirnoff, Johnnie Walker, Gordons Gin & Captain Morgans Rum will be available in the Festival Area alongside various Soft drinks, bottled water and there is also a free water station where you can refill your own bottles. Please note any bottles brought into the Festival need to be empty (if you have any contents in a bottle, security will ask the guest to tip out / remove).

 


RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

No ID No Service. Bartenders reserve the right to:
Refuse service as they deem necessary
ask for ID from any person who looks under 25 years


Please pace yourself and drink responsibly. Hydrate by having water breaks via the Free Water Refills available on site and make sure you own your own behaviour. Froth & Fury Fest will not tolerate ANY unacceptable / anti social behaviour.

MONEY / PAYMENTS

Pirate Life Brewing is a CASHLESS venue, so we will have EFTPOS terminals at bars, merch & catering.
Some bands may accept cash for merch (that is entirely up to them).
Apologies for any inconvenince.

TATTOOS

The great artists at Black Diamond Tattoo Port Adelaide will be set up in a special studio located inside the Main Brewery room.

They will be tattooing special flash tattoos. Bookings are on a first come first served basis.

​

​

SECURITY

All bags are subject to safety and security search upon entry. Any prohibited items will be taken from you before entering into the festival.

Please bring your ID cards which will be inspected on entry.

Please note, that if a bartender is unsure of your age (whether or not you have a +18 wristband), they will ask to sight your ID before service.

If you do not have your ID, you will not be served alcohol at our event.

We all just want to be mates! We have a no tolerance policy for any bad behaviour towards staff or other patrons. If at all your behaviour is deemed to be in conflict with our policy, you will be asked to leave the event

Wristbands must be worn at all times, any patron spotted without a wristband will be asked to leave the event

SMOKING AREA

There is a smoking area provided

 


WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE

Pirate Life Port Adelaide is wheelchair accessible. There are no stairs, and there are access toilets on SITE NEAR THE MAIN BAR.

​

There is a raised area next to the VIP BAR (See the site map) where those with mobility issues can see the main stage - No bookings, this is on a first come - first served basis.

​

FIRST AID

Remember, on site staff including security are available to help you.

Please ensure you familiarize yourself with the first aid location (See the site map) and use it if necessary!

 


WEATHER POLICY

Pirate Life Brewing Pty Ltd have an extreme weather policy. If Pirate Life management & emergency services deem that the event is unsafe to go ahead, we will cancel the event and notify event guests via email & social media.
